The Twin Rivers CTE Area Health Science Education - HOSA students are currently getting hands-on experiences in real healthcare facilities in the county, three class periods per week. Students have learned hands-on skills and Medical Terminology in class, then have this real world opportunity during the second semester. While at the host clinical sites, students use their hands-on skills, improve their communication skills, and observe & assist healthcare professionals. These clinical sites include hospitals, nursing homes/ assisted living facilities, medical clinics, dentists, chiropractors, ambulance, rehab clinic, developmental workshops, and preschools.
